LeaderAnalysis™ diagnoses the dynamics of any team from the perspective of the leader of the group. It does this by measuring the differences between the leader and (1) individuals on the team (2) subgroups formed by a subset of people within the group and (3) the with the group as a whole. It also considers (1) inter-group dynamics and (2) the degree that the leader differs from the average corporate citizen.
The LeaderAnalysis is designed to be useful to all leaders. This means that it must have components of interest to leaders of all types, in all manner of industries, at all levels and who work in all cultures. It does this by adopting a balanced posture. There is something in the report that will be of interest to everyone. To achieve this, some people will find other things in the report superfluous, overly elaborate or perhaps too explicit. Accuracy will not be questioned. Presentation may be. This is the price of a universally applicable tool.

The other half use it as a personal guide or as a script for discussing their leadership strategy with their counselors, coaches or consultants. LeaderAnalysis™ is applies to all leadership situations. The only requires that the group be some kind of team. This means that members share a common purpose (e.g., goal, function, purpose, objective, etc.). All members must also be directly affected by the group outcomes--both positive and negative.
TeamAnalysis™ complements the Leader Analysis™ but they offer different, unique perspectives. TeamAnalysis™ focuses on the inherent, natural tendencies of a team being guided by group decision making. LeaderAnalysis™ adds the hierarchical element common to most business situations.
LeaderAnalysis™ is written in an accessible format using ordinary business language. The report does not require but benefits substantially from having counsel experienced in and knowledgeable of "I Opt" technology. The report is explicit but seasoned executives will typically reach beyond the items covered in the report. It is in this area that knowledgeable counsel proves of a high value.
LeaderAnalysis™ is designed to be of immediate interest and will typically command the leader's attention. It is operationally specific and comprehensive in scope. This means that demanding executives will find that it "speaks their language." Quantification, the use of graphics and the matter-of-fact tone make the report appealing to technically oriented managers and executives. Recommendations that are immediately useful and which are written at about a 9th or 10th grade reading level (the exact level depends on the content generated by the particular analysis) make the report universally appealing to anyone who takes leadership responsibilities seriously.
LeaderAnalysis™ builds on the TeamAnalysis™ to be used in the field. It organizes all of the above elements and presents them in a logical, easy-to-understand diagnostic. The report presents this information in both textual and graphical formats. This provides multiple ways in which the diagnosis can be understood and applied to a variety of unique situations.
LeaderAnalysis™ can be applied to any situation where one individual is charged with or assumes a leadership position over a group of people. It is focused on the fundamentals which apply to any and all leadership situations. This means that it is compatible with any normative model (models that define the "right" way to do something by referencing some kind of standard) that might apply to a particular group, firm or industry.
"I Opt" information processing technology determines what a leader will pay attention (e.g., detail vs. central points) to as well as the likely focus of their final objectives (e.g., action, assessment, plans, etc.). These elements (as well as many others) determine both how a person can lead as well as where they will lead. Not all of the group members will have the same "how" and "where" preferences. Leading these other people toward the leader’s preference is an essential capability of leadership.
